Hey gals. I am watching a podcast and this Ford model is selling the Aveda Outer Peace. She brags about it, keep saying that its all natural. I am just wondering if you gals have tried Aveda stuff.
Also, my mom think that i might be allergic to the neutrogena cleanse that i use. Turns out she might be right. My skin has less rash when i stop using it. I am thinking about finding some mild soap to use. I used to use this Green Tea Soap that my sis gets for me. But its like $50 CAD each. I dont want to spend that kind of money on the soap but want the same effect. Its really good. Any ideas?

I don't know about the Aveda, I've never used it.
It takes a lot of trial and error to find a cleanser that's going to work for you, since everyone's skin is different. Even people with the same skin type don't always have success with the same products.
You might be able to find something from Kiss My Face that will work for you - their products are organic as well but much more affordable. You can take a look at their products on their web site (www.kissmyface.com) and just see if anything seems worth trying.

I was just at an event two days ago and met one of the founders. Their products are really impressive and great for people concerned about the chemicals in beauty products. They have just launched a line for kids that is fantastic and smells delicious.
I've used Aveda quite a bit and really like it, but it is quite pricey.

Have you tried Cetaphil? My sister used to use just a Dove Beauty Bar. Which Neutragena Wash are you using. I hear good thing about the Acne Wash. Its bright and orange .

Yeah the Oil Free Acne Wash is the exact one i have been using. I have been using it for years but somehow my face got all rash up and pimples just got worse these days. Now I stop using it and just use normal zest soap, its a bit better.

There is a store locater on the Kiss My Face web site; you can select your province and it will list the stores that carry their products.
Your skin changes as you age, so sometimes what you've been using for years that worked wonderfully may stop working so well after time. You need to change your routine as your skin changes so you can keep it happy. Makes it a constant search to find what works. Biore used to work really well for me but now I can't use any of their products at all.
|Aveda hairspray... on Aug 08, 2008 @ 11:14 pm|
I frequent an Aveda-concept salon and not only do they use my absolute favorite shampoo (Aveda Rosemary Mint) they used this INCREDIBLE finishing spray on me. I kick myself for it but I COMPLETELY forgot to ask what the product was exactly, all I remember is it smelled D-I-V-I-N-E (yeah, we're still talking about hairspray) and kept it's scent for 24 hours, and the hold was strong but totally soft. You couldn't feel it in the hair. I'll send a fruit basket to the person who can tell me what product this was, it made me sad to have to wash my hair!
