Best Eye Make Up Removers - thoughts?!

snazzytank

Wondering what everyone uses for eye makeup removal?  My current favourites are Clinique Take The Day Off (for eyes and lips) and Bioderma Sensibio H20 for eyes and face.  I find the Clinique slightly more effective at removing waterproof liners and mascaras - but it is a little more pricey than the Bioderma.  Any other good ones out there you Chicks have tried?  Thanks!

Olive oil is the secret natural eye makeup remover you need!

I use olive oil, my grandma's old secret and since it's naturally emollient, it lifts the dirt and makeup off and leaves my skin very soft and conditioned. Pond's Cold Cream

Pond's Cold Cream works perfect for me! It even gets off waterproof mascara. I use it before anything else and then follow up with my cleanser to get rid of any residue. I highly recommend it and I believe it's only around $6 at Target or Walgreens (and Walgreens is constantly having Pond's sales).

La Roche, but also coconut oil

I use La Roche when I choose to use a makeup remover that is storebought. However, if you have the skin that can handle it (and I find that mine can, which is severely combination - constantly dry and oily to extremes), using a brand like Nutiva coconut oil (from the grocery store!) is amazing. I find that it will take off more makeup than any product can, and you can remove it with a warm face cloth if using oil is frightening! I haven't had any related breakouts, and have begun using it as a moisturizer too.

I like using olive oil or coconut oil!

I really like using natural oils to remove eye makeup because I have long lashes and the dirt and grime from my makeup really gets caught up in there. I need something really emollient but that won't clog my delicate eye skin. I have found that Coconut oil and Olive oil are the best natural remedies I just apply with a Q-tip let it sit for a couple minutes and then gently rub in circles with a wet washcloth and all the makeup dissolves off and I'm left with moisturized skin! I found more tips like this for eye makeup removal on www.mingleandmansome.com hope this helps!
