Best Foundation/Concealer for Acne

Does anyone have any suggestion for a foundation / concealer that works well for covering up acne? Or at least one that has ingredients to help improve the skin ? My skin is dry/normal, so I (almost) never get oily.

Vichy Dermablend Foundation

I love this foundation a lot! It has great coverage and doubles as a concealer for under eye dark circles. I don't know about ingredients in improving skin, but it's never caused me to break out and I have sensitive skin. I have freckles and I use it sometimes to cover them up when they get too crazy from the skin so it works well as a high coverage product that doesn't look cakey.

Foundation for acne

Try a foundation from Vichy or La Roche Posay.

Hard candy has a great heavy duty concealer that will cover up acne, and it's pretty cheap!

But if you are looking for something with an active ingredient in it I would recommend the body shop's tea tree concealer, it has good coverage and helps heal!

Concealer/ foundation stick?

Have you tried either a concealer or foundation stick? They make cream to powder formulas that are super easy to apply and offer full coverage without looking cakey. I know a couple good ones if you need a suggestion =]

None. But let Me Explain Myself.

None. Use a lot of benzoyl peroxide. I do mean an obscene amount. You'll be "ugly" for a minute but you will be happy that you gave your skin a break.

I currently use babors Mattifying foundation but try to find something more natural or organic, there's a lot of parabens and talc that clog your pores and out nasty stuff in your skin which is not favourable for acne.

Full coverage concealer

Make Up For Ever makes a really good concealer. It claims to provide coverage for "most extreme flaws, such as scars, severe skin damage, beauty spots, depigmentation or birthmarks." (See for more details).

It comes in an array of shades. It is a bit pricey, however you only need a tiny amount. Another advantage is that the ingredients are supposed to help calm acne/irritated skin.
