Broken Heart or Broken Nails?

Hi Chicks,I have a question and wondering if, any of you have any good ideas or Home Remedies for Brittle Nails?Mine are just terrible, I look at them and they crack,I swear.Breaks my Heart because,I see some women with beautiful long nails and mine ,well they are hopeless.I've tried a lot of products to strengthen my nails but, nothing works. This is why I don't try any of the Beautiful Nail Polish they have here sometimes to try and review. What's the sense, when I know what will happen, very frustrating. It will just peel off because my nails just crack right to the quick.I have never bitten my Nails or handle harsh cleaners without wearing gloves.I think old remedy would work better than store products. It has cost me a lot I mean a lot of money to get them to grow, any tips?Well appreciated.

You can use coconut oil. Just warm it up a little and massage it into your cuticles and around the whole nail bed, morning and night.

There are also biotin supplements for strengthening nails, which will also help your hair, so that's a bonus. The brand I've used in the past was Nutricap. You can find it in drugstores.

Medical issues can cause poor nails.

Have you checked your health in general? My nails peel and just one (!) splits when my iron levels are low. Some ladies swear by taking silica and other supplements to strengthen their hair and nails.
