coconut oil on hair

Hi! I've recently started using coconut oil to fix my split ends and to grow out my hair. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to use it? or a homemade hair mask to do?
Thank you! :)

I just use it as it is. Maybe I'll put it in the microwave just to soften it a little bit. And then after I put it on my hair I'll put it in a bunch and but a shower cap on. I do this once a week or so.

Coconut Oil

Hi, I love this product because it has so many benefits to it. I don't heat it up, I just use my hands to warm it up and spread it on my hair. I even use it on my fur baby's hair. It makes it so soft and leaves it shiny. It's great to cook with or just to add a bit on your food. Fur babies love to eat it and it's so beneficial to their bodies and ours. I don't put a lot on my hair, just enough to do the ends and bangs. I also use it for a moisturizer on my face & body after I shower, it feels wonderful and my skin loves it. Ginger

definitely just put it on as is, and like it was mentioned before just rub it between your hands to warm it up. only needs a little bit, goes a long way

I just warm it up with my hands then apply a little to my wet hair after I shower, then I comb my hair out. I also use it on my face with sugar as a scrub.

Where to get.

What brand do you buy, and where do you purchase it? Has anyone noticed a difference in length? My hair is about armpit length but i cant seem to get it any longer than that and would love 4-5 more inches. I used to wear extensions but the amount of damage to my hair from them was to much to continue..

I usually mix olive oil, coconut oil, and honey to make a super moisturizing mask. The catch is that you have to put it on overnight, but the results are amazing! I have have pretty thin hair, and this made it so silky and smooth and very voluminous. I really recommend it, and I hope you'll try it out!
