Dry Hair?

I just noticed in a post some ladies are experiencing dry hair. I absolutely HAVE to every now and then put olive oil through my hair right down to the ends; not sopping wet though. Then I put on a cover, sleep through the night, wash as usual in the morning. You may want to do this on the weekend if you are stuck for time.It does make my hair shinier and not dried out like it used to be, but I do this once a month to keep it that way. I never use a blow dryer or hair spray as this is too harsh and damaging to my hair.

Try coconut oil!

I used olive oil for the longest time until coconut oil started popping up on shelves everywhere. Once a week or so, I'll slather my ponytail in coconut oil and tie it up overnight (or as long as I can stand it) and then wash it out. It keeps my hair healthy, shiny and strong. I totally recommend giving it a try. Be warned, I've heard horror stories of people whose hair reacts negatively to coconut oil and as a result falls out. Yikes!

Dry Hair.

Well I have very processed and damaged hair from coloring and bleaching ( was bleach blonde for a long time) and ive tried so many things and only few work without leaving my hair greasy. I DEF recommend argan oil or keratin oil..omg it works wonders! My hair is so soft afterwards. Or if you live near a Sallys Beauty Supply they have these little packets by ION solutions and it is a deep conditioning hair mask... after bleaching my hair I would use one and let it sit for about half hour 45 mins and my hair felt so good, and it felt good for a few days as well. Hope this helps! :)

Coconut Oil

I use coconut oil faithfully about once a week. I had very over processed and damaged hair, colouring, washing daily, blow drying and then either curling or straightening. I was buying the expensive salon products and still my hair was severely damaged. Oh and I washed it daily! Now it's been the hardest thing to break but I now wash my hair every second or third day. I have now switched to products that can be purchased at Walmart, drugstore etc. I have a lot of fun with that switching it up, some work better than others but I do strongly believe the combination of not washing my hair daily and using coconut oil weekly has made the world of difference! I put it on at night and wash out in the morning and it leaves my hair so soft and silky it's amazing! So for me no more spending my retirement fund on salon products!

I use macadamia nut oil. It comes in a little brown tube thing at Sally's but I've also seen it at Walmart.

Coconut oil shampoo & conditioner followed by coconut oil.
VitalOil several times a day, every day for my very thick, long, damaged hair. Olive oil is too heavy even for my hair.
