Dry Oil

on Jul 20, 2013 @ 01:28 pm

I recently was in Toronto at The Body Shop and bought some strawberry scented dry oil. I was so impressed; had to share.
It is great for dry, brittle and overworked hair without having to rinse. I have used it on my hands and whole body. It soaks in right away and what a unique feel. Such a contradiction:Dry and Oil. I also use it on my cuticles. Smells delicious when layered with the strawberry scented body spray These come in many other scents too.
Let me know if you try it.

I've used the Body Shop oils before and they are pretty great! I love the scents as well. I've used on my face, body and hair. I love dry oils on my skin. I feel like they really soak in and they leave a nice, light scent. On my face, I found it a bit too oily and dewy but as a morning moisturizer, before makeup for those who like a dewy finish it would work wonderfully. I especially like the oils in my hair. I find they weren't too heavy but still gave some moisture and calmed the frizzies down. I'm also a big fan of the Garnier dry oil.

I appreciate the tip. I probably would have never tried dry oil, but now I'm really interested!
