Not all their products are great. I usually buy their eye shadow at Winners. Great deals

Out of all the e.l.f. products I've tried, I must admit there was only one I actually liked. It was an eyelid primer thing, the stuff you put on before eyeshadow to make it last longer. Otherwise I honestly don't like any of their products. It's funny though because I watch a fair amount of beauty youtubers and some of them really like e.l.f. Granted, they are American so they have better access to them. I only ever found e.l.f. at Winners or Target, and of course Target is closed now. Maybe it's because by the time they hit the Winners shelves, they're old, but that's just a guess. I'd be interested in going to Old Navy to try and see if their selection/quality is better, but I don't know if it's worth buying a bunch at once. I'd maybe try one or two things first, then go from there.

E.L.F is very hit and miss, but more hits than misses. :) My top five products from them that I would repurchase are their quad blush palettes, mineral eyeshadow primer, make up Studio line brushes, mineral blushes, and their mineral eyeshadows pressed or loose...guess that's six products. Prices are just so affordable for surprisingly decent quality cosmetics.
Are you seeing elf at Old Navy stores in Toronto?

I was at the Barrie South Store and some them at the check out line. I saw brushes, eye shadows, blushes, and lipsticks. I think there was more but that's all I can remember.

So I went ahead and splurged on the website and I am very happy with what I got. I payed 37 USD with shipping and got around 70 worth of product. I have only used the lip gloss stick so far and I love it. I will post reviews as I use my new stash. Oh ya the brushes are super soft too. So excited and can't wait to share. :0)

The brushes are really great for the price. :) The only thing I would try to avoid when washing them is not to allow water to get in between the brush head and the metal part that holds the brush hairs in tack; otherwise, they are really great to have in your brush collection.

I love their lip glosses

I really like their HD loose powder. I wasn't overly impressed with any of the other products I bought.

I've been slowly trying things as they come into Canada, and picking up some when in the US. Their products are incredibly well priced. Their primer is equivalent to Smashbox and $8 in Canada (I cannot find the $42 difference at all). Their eyeshadows are a bit hit and miss, and they are not terribly well milled but again, based on price, you can't complain and I have a kit I bought a Winners with all sorts of browns and taupes and I use it all the time. I bought a blush at Real Canadian Superstore for $4 and really it's a nice bright colour, goes on well and, again, was $4! I'm hoping my friend will pick up some of their eyelid primer when in the US because I hear great things.
They get a lot of good reviews about their brushes but I haven't tried any myself. I've tried a few low cost cosmetics in the past year and elf is one I continue to go back to. Essence is another one.
