Facials - where is your go-to place?

samuraiya

Hi all, just wanted to put the question out there. Where do you all go for your facials? Have you found a place/esthetician you can stick with? Or, are you still looking for that perfect place, like myself? I've been to Novospa and Pure+Simple. But, my favorite is still Ingrid, this esthetician who started running her own spa in her very very nicely renovated basement. Her facials are only $50 which included a collagen mask, anything she needs to do to zat away my blemishes, threading, a super relaxing shoulder massage, and some very romantic Japanese soap opera music in the background! Too bad she's in Richmond Hill...and I'm in downtown Toronto... I miss you Ingrid, if you're reading this!!!

Boy, have i got a place for you,

i don't knwo about the rest of you girls, but when i go for facials, i want to come out feeling clean, relaxed and as if i have a new layer of skin. For someone to feel like this you need 2 things:
a) and EXCELLENT aestitician
b) a spa that isn't cheap on the products they use.

i go to concepts salon/spa, not only because i work there, but beacuse the aesticians there will take the time to examine your face to ensure they dont use a product that will conclude in you breaking out. they're very professional, and you can tell them specifically what you want them to focus on (maybe you have acne, maybe you have a lot of white heads, or pores that you want tightened).

Michael Kluthe Salon & Spa

I enjoyed their european style facial which is customized to your skin's needs & condition. Comes with a nice face & back massage. $75 for 90 minutes. I find this to be a pretty good deal, but most importantly, the facial was done well and the esthetician didn't try to sell me any products!
