GOOD FACE CREAM - Suggestions PLS

CZopp39

Hey ladies, thought I might hit the forum for some suggestions.

Help me! my face is starting to slide (I am not officially over 45).   Any thoughts on a good tightening face cream - not too pricey?

I have tried Neostrata which is not too bad but how about something of the drugstore variety - such as Olay?  nothing too smelly and I like serums as I have oilier skin.
help me.....I'm melting....

My favorites

I have way too many favorites to list but two of my absolute tried and true favorites for aging skin are Estee Lauder Perfectionist CP R Wrinkle Lifting / Firming Serum and Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Serum (with Retinol). I find both of these serums work very hard to plump skin (which smoothes wrinkles and fine lines) and helps make skin look younger looking and more radiant. The Neutrogena one in particular really seems to lift my skin without a tightening feeling. It's a face-lift in a tube!
I can't say how they'd work on oily skin, sorry. I tend to have dry skin. These are serums though, not heavy like lotions or creams can be, so they may work well for those with oily skin too.
Are you looking for treatment products (serums, wrinkle, lifting / tightening products, eye creams), day creams (lighter products - many with SPF) or night creams (heavier products, typically cream versions) ?
I'll have a look at my skincare products later and let you know what other products have worked for me.
Oh, a drugstore option that is very good is Olay Regenerist Micro-sculpting Cream (SPF 30). It's great but I find it to be kind of pricey for a drugstore option. It's won many awards and I can see why. Honestly though, I'd rather spend a bit more on either option I mentioned above as I feel they give better results. I'm almost 40, btw.

I suggest Noxzema. My mom and grandmother used it, and now I do. It makes my skin soft and it has a nice clean smell

At 52, I feel your pain.
I discovered L'Oreal Revitalift Bright Reveal a few months ago. I am quite impressed with the brightening pads, and the moisturizers. I wrote reviews for both, so feel free to check those out. To sum it up, the line has made a visible difference on my skin. Each product only lasts about a month, and when I ran out, I noticed a negative change within a week, so ended up buying more. It's not cheap, but not the most expensive option either.
I also just started using the volume filler from the same line..it is a serum, but I have only been using it for a couple of weeks, so jury is till out.
Great topic, by the way. There seems to be quite a few of us older chicks, and most of us want to take care of our skin, and are willing to spend the money and time to do it.

I use 100% pressed extra virgin coconut oil under my eyes for hydration, in addition to Aveeno ageless under eye cream. For my face I use Nivea Q10 and Nivea day and night cream. I also use a toner and make sure to exfoliate 3x per week. I found that using clay masks once per week help with tightening my skin and somewhat shrinking the larger pores on my face, I have used St Ives and Vichy - both work fantastic.

I've absolutely been loving Racinne, they are a Canadian company that sells and makes Korean style skincare that is vegan and cruelty free! Also, rosehip seed oil is amazing for your skin! Good luck!

Night Cream

I use daily Nivea Nourishing night cream - it is a thicker night cream but doesn't leave my skin feeling oily, it absorbs quickly.

Sephora Collection - Creamy Night Mask - Moisturing & Pluming : This a really nice once or twice a week mask, it dries quickly and has a nice floral scent to it. I find it leaves my skin super soft and hydrated.
