Homemade face masks

GlaSSguRu

I found this recipe online and it worked wonders for my REALLY dry skin. My face was flaking off it was so dry from the harsh winter weather but this did the trick.

1 egg
1 tsp. honey
1 tsp. olive oil
1 tsp vitamin E oil

Mix it all together and spread all over your face. When it's dry (about 15 minutes) rinse it off with luke-warm water. If there are still dry spots, try ruubbing some vitamin E oil on it - it absorbs fast and works well under makeup.

Are there any other recipes that you have tried?

vit E oil is really good

My cousin works in the food business and she has to wash her hands a lot in the winter time. Her hands are so dry in the winter that her fingers will crack and bleed. She has tried every hand moisturizer out there but nothing worked. Then, she started rubbing vit E oil on her hands every night, let the oil absorb for about 15 min before going to bed. Her hands didn't crack and bleed anymore. Another family friend of mine also has very dry hands. He tried this vit E oil trick and it worked like a charm.

My cousin buys those vit E capsules from a drugstore, snip with scissors to make a small opening on the capsule and squeeze out the oil. She used between 1/2 - 1 capsule per night (depending on how dry her skin is).
