Hot or Not: The under-eye, eye liner

I like this look. But I feel like it would only be appropriate at a Fashion event of some sort. I feel like it would make my eyes look a little droopy, or smudge if I laughed too much? Have any of you tried this trend?

This is such a creative look, it's the first time I've seen it. I agree it's not a day-to-day look but special occasions for sure (and only for those who can pull off an avant garde look)

oh, no thanks

Not for me! That I fear is one look I'd look back on and say "what what I thinking?"

Work It

Bold looks like this need to be "worked", if you feel the slightest bit awkward or as if you are standing out people will notice - and not in a good way.

@mumaluv - what has been your greatest "what was I thinking so far?"

'What was i thinking'

@ mamaluv, Yess! I am very curious... what were some of your greatest fashion/beauty mistakes? Mine were definitely full velour jumpsuits! haha now that I look back on it, I looked ridiculous!!

that's a little too weird....

That would take batting your lashes to a whole 'nother level yes?

I don't think I could do this...

What I Did (kids, cover your eyes)

Start with long straight hair scraped back in a banana clip a la so:

Then a curled-upward layer of bangs over a curled-downward layer of bangs kind of like so:

Finish off with half a can of aerosol hairspray so that neither wind nor sleet nor hail could budge that puppy even a fraction of a millimetre and you have the general idea.

In my defense, I was hardly the only one who looked like that - but I might be one of the very few who'll cop to it.

Oh, and I probably had a pair of those earrings too (above). It. Was. Awesome.

These are hilarious. The second image SCREAMS 80's or EARLY 90s! I love it hahah. I also had one of those clips above. I thought they made my hair fall so nicely..
