Hot showers could be leaving you flaky!

I found this great tip on RealBeauty.com that could explain why your skin is so dry in the winter.

Hot water followed by cool, dry air will make your skin dry and flaky.  So even though hot showers may feel glorious on a bitter cold winter day, it's probably contributing to dry skin!

I know I'm guilty of taking super hot showers during the winter and just the thought of turning down the heat gives me shivers, but I also have very dry skin that needs to go.

This week, I'll try showering in (slightly) cooler water and seeing if this works.  Anyone with me?

I`m totally guilty of hot showers, baths, and lots of time in the hot tub during the winter months - I never thought about the kind of damage it could being doing to my skin; I just thought I wasn`t moisturizing enough. I`ll try and turn the temperature done a tad.
