If you haven't heard of Bio-essence face lifting cream before, don't fret! It's an producted marketed in Asia for women to achieve a more "V-shaped" face, also known as a slimmer, trimmed jawline.
Here is the product:
The packaging comes with a measuring tape so you can measure your face before and after using the product to actually see visible results!
A lot of beauty bloggers have been RAVING about this product, and now I'm considering buying it too. If I can find a safe online store to purchase it at!
What do you think of this marketing technique? Do you think it's believable enough to purchase?

How is this even possible? on Jul 13, 2011 @ 11:10 am
I'm always skeptical of over the top product claims. There is only so much any topical product can do. Aside from surgery, I don't see how you can alter the structure of your jaw with a cream. Interesting...
Sooo weird- but I am so curious! on Jul 13, 2011 @ 11:11 am
I think curiosity will get the better of me in this one- I feel like this is such a strange product but I also have a serious hangups about my face and for some silly reason I always think it is too fat (i know... like I said, silly) anyways, I would definitely try this out! I would like to know how long the effects last though.
I'm interested but scared on Jul 13, 2011 @ 11:12 am
I don't know. I would love to have a slimmer face since my face is rather big but I'm scared that if you stop using the cream, your face will sag. I'm just scared of the consequences. I don't want to be using this cream forever. Plus this seems really new to me, maybe if more tests could be done...
Save your money ladies!!!!!!!!!!!! on Jul 13, 2011 @ 11:20 am
No cream is going to make your face slimmer, it just
isn't possible to do with any cream. Unless you go under the knife your
just going to be wasting you money, I would bet on that!
Besides why would you want to, I think you're all beautiful just the way you are!!

So if this thing actually works, if I buy enough pots of this cream and rub it ALL OVER MY BODY, will I slim down all over?? :-D
If I could buy this at the stores I'd probably try it out, but tammyk made a good point, what if once I stop using this product my skin sags? Yikes!
alexjc: from what little I can see of your face in your dp, you're right, very silly to think your face needs to be slimmed down!!
@tammyk: your face is NOT BIG. maybe your mirror is skewed? I dunno, but your face is NOT big!!! it's very cute, and very proportionate to the rest of you :)
Talking about big faces, I hate my mirror, and camera, and all other reflective or image capturing thing. Sux :(

Not sure if this will help in helping you believe that it may work, but:
Check out Singapore's #1 Blogger's experience with the product here. (it's a youtube link)
To me, she seems like the type to give an honest opinion, but she also is the type to super rave about a product if it shows even the slightest difference.
Her name is Xiaxue by the way :). I just happened to stumble on her one lazy youtube-ing day.

I just watched her plastic surgery video, and she seems very sweet and real :)

Becky I'm like 110% sure your face is not big! I guess we just notice these things about ourselves that we don't like and other people probably don't see it.
If anyone does try this product, please tell me how it goes for them. I would like to know :)
what does it actually do? on Jul 14, 2011 @ 12:01 pm
My main question is how does this product work? Obviously it can't affect your bone structure (or if it does I'd be extremely worried), so I'm guessing it's a dehydrating cream to pull water away from those areas of your face?
If that's the case, then as soon as you stop using it, your body will replenish the lost water. There's also something inherently iffy about purposely dehydrating, which I've ranted about before.
And yet I'm no stranger to wishing certain features of my body looked a little differently, so I understand the desire to look for remedies :)

That is really wild!
