When a woman becomes a certain age it should be reffered to make down for the makeup. My reasoning is there is nothing worse than seeing a woman in advanced years with eye shadow and red cheeks See it a lot and it's sad. A little makeup is fine; however mascara etc. should be reserved for the younger ones.Just MY opinion

Why do you even care? Seems harsh and judgemental to me. I can see why your comment is anonymous.

Makeup yes or no?

I am in my 50's and my eyelashes are so thin, short and sparse no one can even see them at all if I don't wear mascara... however will only do a thin coat.... as for the rest tend to go with a tinted moisturizer with a very natural blush if any and really lipstick is my main thing..... it really is all about being classy though whether you are judging or being judged.

that comment is subjective

I value everyone's opinion and really try not to be judgemental. My personal opinion is that makeup should not be just for younger woman. If it enhances your natural beauty (which I feel every woman has) then why not?

Makeup is the ONLY artistic ability that I have to express myself. In addition, for me it helps to release tension. I plan on wearing mascara until I have breath left in my body!!!!!!

I've always thought a dark lip ages you, but I rarely wear dark or red lipsticks. I have always preferred a nude lipstick or gloss and lined more defined eyes. I think anyone should look for colours close to their natural skin tone. Teenage years are your years to experiment - with me, it was metallic blue eye shadow I probably got as a magazine freebie! Now I tend to stick to the same / similar products because I know what looks agree with me better.
