Nails before bed...can it be done?

Has anyone tried to do their nails at night before hopping into bed? I`m looking for a good ``quick dry`` or ``quick dry top coat`` so I can do this at night and not have to worry about my nails getting scratched up or ruined at night?

A friend of mine has the base and top coats for Lippman and she gave me a manicure lately and it was fabulous. It's a bit pricier than drugstore nail polish but excellent quality and I found it dried pretty quickly. We didn't have a fan or anything. You can get that at the Stillwater Spa boutique here in Toronto and I'm sure there are many other places that carry it on and offfline.

Im an esthetician, and I know the one way we reccommend women to do this, is by painting your nails fully and adding a quick drying top coat ( I like china glaze quick freeze) then wait about 10-15 minute and coat your nails in a thick moisturizer and put them into spa glove that you can find at any place such as walmart or target and leave them overnight. I use this when i have a pedicure in the winter and dont have time to wait for my nails to dry. The bonus is youll also have super soft hands and moisturized cuticles :)

O.P.I Drip Dry Drops

Thanks x0serena0x.

That's really interesting. What does the moisturizer do for the drying? I'll give this a try. With the pedicure, are there spa pedicure socks? ... assuming you didn't attempt the gloves on your feet ;)

I didn't have time to find the Lippman that misschickie recommended. But, I did buy the O.P.I Drip Dry Drops. I used this with a basecoat, two coats of polish and then a top coat. Waited 1 minute and used the drops. I think this worked pretty well. I was literally in bed when I was doing this (with a very unhappy husband next to me - who told me he might just keel over from the smell (he didn't and we're still married!)). The next morning, my nails were in pretty good shape. No imprints, scratches etc.
