Perfume suggestions

The regular perfume I wear is Ralph by Ralph Lauren. I'm looking for a different perfume though. Anyone have any suggestions?

What types of scents do you like?

Are you into florals, oriental, musky, citrus, etc.

That will help get some reccos going :)

Not too sure

This might make me sound stupid. . . but I don't really know much on perfumes. I just either like the smell or I don't. But I don't think I'd like musky much. What is an oriental smell? Citrus sounds interesting. What kind of smell would Ralph be?

Ralph notes are:
fresh apple leaf and mandarin with osmanthus, freesia, magnolia, and musk with white iris

So you would probably like floral or fruity scents

Oriental smells are:citrus,spice,amber,wood and vanilla

There are so many fragrance choices!Go into a big department store like The Bay or go to a perfume shop or even The Body Shop etc and smell the sample bottles to get an idea...I love doing that and discovering new colognes!I am the same way I either like it or don't...So its easier then suggesting a perfume you wont like to check out some scents in stores. The Clerks will be more then happy to help you out!!

Let us know what you get!Good Luck :)

Try Sephora!

Whenever I'm in the mood for a new scent, I scroll down the perfume aisle at Sephora! Everything is out and ready to smell without any clerks chasing you around! I find my preference varies on the occasion or my mood! I wear Miracle by Lancome on a day to day basis... it's fresh and reminds me of baby powder! In the summer time, I like Glow by JLo or Kenzo Summer (which they don't make anymore!) which are more fruity and playful, and for a night out, I like Angel by Thierry Mugler or Michael by Michael Kors which are deep and sexy scents!

Play around with some, you'll love it!

2 that I like

After some research of popular ones I bought Japanese Cherry Blossom from Bath & Body Works. It's musky, according to the sales person. I was actually thinking of buying Light Blue by D&G;but it was $60 at Sephora VS. the $5 small bottle at Bath & Body Works so I went with that for now.

Are there any websites to buy discounted perfumes?

I find perfumes like SJP Lovely, anything by Thierry Mugler, Burberry, Marc Jacobs Daisy or Lola and the Vera Wang Princesses are ones that pretty much everyone likes. I'm really into strong, musky scents right now. I'm a big fan of anything Gautier, Kenzo, Issey Miyake and Chanel Coco Madamoiselle.

I think your best bet is to go into a department store or sephora and just spend some time smelling different scents and getting a feel for what you like.

Shoppers drug mart

Shoppers drug mart usually has samples just as for them! I just got a sample of iresistible and it was strong at first but now I really like it. I usually like fruity smells like the body shop sells

Body Mists and Samples

Also- I forgot! Perfumes can be pricey so try getting as many samples as you can- ask and they should have them. As well, try body mists from Bath and Body Works or The Body Shop. Most perfumes will also come in a mist form. You'll still get the scent but its less money.
