So I was once obsessed with getting bangs and read online the type you should get corresponding to the type of face that you have, but my combination is the worst.
I finally tried getting them cut once with side bangs but the hairdresser gave me an awful fringe that took a year to grow out. Now Im a little skeptical to try again but Im so sick of my one length hair. Any suggestions?

You could always take a couple pics - one of you and one of a celeb with their hair cut the way you're considering - and photoshop them together to see how it would look.
Or there are also some sites where you can upload your picture and then "try on" different hair styles, you could try that to see how it might look too. The hair on those sites always looks so horribly fake it won't give you an accurate "preview" but it does help for giving you the general idea what you would look like with your hair cut a certain way.

Thanks a bunch! Ive heard of those kinds of sites too but never really tried them out.
Ill try to look for celebs with a similar face shape.

Try going to www.hairmixer.com. You can try lots of different hair styles and see what looks good.

I suffer from small-forehead-bang-envy too. Hairdressers have tried to give me bangs but it rarely looks good unless its the thick emo type of bangs, which is sooooo not me. I guess you've tried layers?

I think you could pull off pretty much anything. You have a very nice face. That helps. My issue is the cheeks. People always want to pinch them. They are quite "healthy" and as a result there are a few looks I dare not attempt. In your case I think you could get away with or without bangs. Remember bangs are a fad and won't be around forever. If you really want to try them, now's the time!
