Underwear still in the jeans

This is going to sound wierd and I'm sure Alex will kill me for posting this, but he has this habit of taking his undies and pants off at the same time then throwing them into the laundry hamper together. I then have the misfortune of dealing with it because he's not allowed to do laundry (doesn't know how to deal with my clothes without ruining them). Men, please don't do this. It's just wrong.

Yes men...PLEASE...remove them separately! Oh and it doesn't hurt to throw them in a hamper as well! ;o)

I'm reviving and old thread here b/c I don't think I saw this last year! Hahah...

My hubby only has tops and bottoms. It doesn't matter how many layers of tops and bottoms he's wearing. He puts the layers on separately but he ALWAYS takes them off at the same time. It annoys me because I do the laundry in my house too (b/c I have the same problem as MC concerning the proper care of our clothes). But I pick my battles and I chose to ignore the multi-layer tops and bottoms. I have a bigger fish to fry:

He ALWAYS takes them off inside out and he leaves them inside out in the dirty laundry. When we first lived together, I'd flip his socks the right side out after they have been washed. I got fed up after awhile and I asked him to either take them off properly or turn them right out after he's taking them off. That lasted 1 week. Then I told him if he doesn't flip them before putting them in the basket, I'll put them away inside out. Obviously that's how he likes his socks. *roll eyes*

Now...I just wash the socks and let him deal with it when they are clean. :P

I have no such problem. on Jun 05, 2008 @ 11:32 am

I usually just take off my jeans when i get home and just wear my underwear around. I can't imagine walking around nude.

PJs.... on Jun 05, 2008 @ 04:36 pm

Hahah...no, Hunter. I don't think our guys walk around nude. Heehee...at least mine doesn't anyway. He gets into his PJs. Heehee...

He stays dressed nicely until he goes to bed.

It's the getting ready for bed part where the crime is committed. Since I posted this he has thankfully been cured of it. Am still working on the snoring though... ;)

I'm so w/ you!! on Jun 07, 2008 @ 01:03 am

Bubbly, I sooo understand. When fiance gets home from his trips he unloads his suitcase directly into the laundry basket. He's good about keeping his sport socks right side out, but his dress socks are 1/2 right side out 1/2 inside out all bunched up into a ball. That won't wash or dry very well so I end up righting the sock .... ewwwww, its all sweaty and dirty and nasty! I ask him to straighten them out when he removes them, but that rarely happens. So now I just wash them as is and let him deal w/ the results. :-P

But, I'm also the pot calling the kettle black. A lot of my clothes head into the wash inside out. But for some reason, the balled up dirty socks are a bit gross.

And yes, MC, fiance stays dressed in PJs till bed time. Though there might be the occasional show down the hallway b/t the bathroom and bedroom!! :-D And he was never a snorer, but now that hs'e flying all the time (and likely more tired) I'm noticing a slight increase in the occurrence of snoring. I need to head this one off at the pass!

the snoring thing on Jun 07, 2008 @ 08:10 am

Hahah...spotty, my hubby does the same balling thing too with his laundry. Another reason why he never does the laundry in our house. Whenever he's doing laundry, our dirty stuff goes into the washer in a ball, comes out of the washer in a ball, goes into the dryer in the ball and out the dryer in a ball. The worst thing about the balling is that they don't dry evenly in the dryer. To compensate for the uneven drying, he just turns on the dryer for longer, thus overdrying and ruining my clothes. (Not to mention a waste of time and energy!)

As for the snoring...I have to ask...how do you plan on heading off the snoring thing? Hahah...if you have a plan, I'd love to hear it. I've been trying for years and I've accomplished nothing...!! Heehee...
