I don't know if many people here on Pinterest but if you're not, I recommend finding someone you know who is and who will send you an invite! Funnest thing ever. These are a few DIY activities I found and they are just too fun to not share with the chicks here!
This is for designing your own flip flops. If anyone is taking a trip somewhere this winter - what a cool way to add a personal touch to the flip flops you take along! I've seen someone add big wooden beads to this as well.
This is for designing a nautical headband. I just think it looks so nice! And this could also be applied to any other headband ideas that inspire you.
Does anyone have any other cool DIY ideas they've come across?

What is Pinterest? I just checked out the site and on first glance it looks a bit like tumblr.

Coasters made with Scrabble letters?! Love that idea!
@curlysue - I'm not as familiar with Tumblr but I think Tumblr is more personal posts? Like a blog. Whereas Pinterest you post anything you come across like cool ideas for rooms, meals, etc. or just random things.
This is from the website: "Pinterest is a virtual pinboard. Pinterest allows you to organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. You can browse pinboards created by other people to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests.People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and share their favorite recipes"
I also found this link that explains the difference better than I can! http://www.quora.com/Pinterest/How-does-Pinterest-differ-from-Tumblr-or-FFFFOUND

Here is a link to example of the coasters
Mine are a bit different in that i dont use the blank tiles (because there are only two in a pack and itd cost a fortune to buy so many bags to get all the blank ones), so i use a variety of letters around the words and then stain the words so they stand out!! :)

Those are neat coasters...I might have to make myself a set as well.
For blank tiles you could just use the back side of the letters you don't need, though I'm sure the stained words among random letters would look really pretty.
