I'm looking for some affordable, but gorgeous (costume) jewellry - especially earrings. I am allergic to silver and am hoping to get some white gold/gold hook dangling ones. Can anyone make any recommendations?

Only seen the Tiffany and swarovski

I have only checked those out. I think they are both silver. But Tiffany is overpriced. Cause they dont look that special.

make your own

Have you tried going to beads store where you can put together your own jewelry and they make it for you. You can use beads, crystals, etc...and you only have to buy the gold hooks, which is a lot cheaper than going to a gold jewelry store to buy a pair of gold earrings.

Otherwise, jewelry stores in the mall always have gold earrings but it's expensive.

If you are looking for jewelry to go with outfits, I'd try beads store. I have put together a few dangling earrings with swarovski crystals and I love them! They are affordable and unique!!

A few places

A lot of clothing stores carry some nice earrings. I have also found some pretty items at Clair's or Icing, but you may have to ask for non-silver items. Most of the items I have gotten from them is fake though. I also like looking at the kiosks in malls, they tend to have interesting pieces that are not expensive. I also got a few nice pairs for work at Reitmans last year. Winners also carries some pretty jewelry, although theirs tend to be real, I think. You may be able to find some nice gold ones there for a better price!

Love Tiffany's

I love Tiffany's. But you're right - simple gold hooks would be a bit out of my budget. lol

Jewellry places

I've checked out a number of them, but they don't carry them. They only have the simple silver hooks =( I guess I'll have to find the higher end beading boutiques ;)
