I just came across this strange mani, I have actually seen something similar before but I don't know if I would call it a trend.
In any case, it involves a nail piercing. I can't decide if its cool or kind of icky and trashy?
What do you think?

I would be to scared that I would catch it on something and rip my nail(OUCH) So this one is not one I like..

I have to agree, with bren; I'd be afraid of it catching on something and/or snagging on something. Not only that, but what happens when it tears out? You're left with a ruined nail ( especially if it ACTUALLY is pierced through it) and then you have to cut your nails so that all your nails are the same length agian. No thanks.

It looks cool, but it's totally not something for me. I'd be scared of it catching! Ouch.

Not for me...would make me nervous as well.

I guess my age is going to show because this isnt a 'new' trend. We did this back in the 80's! We'd have a silver or gold initial hanging off a nail to match our pendants.

I have done it back in high school. I liked it but I don't think i'd do it again.
It would be really cool on someone that has a edgy style.

Blast from the past. That is old school but yeah, no thanks.

It looks alright, but like everyone else said, i'd be afraid of it catching on something! I'm too afraid to get 3D nail art done for the same reason.

It's cute, but I have a hard enough time keeping my rings from catching on things and like almost everyone else has said I'd be afraid of catching it on something and ripping my nail off. I think it would look nice on model's and going down the run way, just not on myself.

My friends were doing this way back in 1997!! No, it's not trendy - it's kind of tacky.
