Ordering Fake Plugs

Hey Ladies!

So I've always admired plugs in ears, but don't have the guts to actually stretch my ear lobes! Soooooooo I've decided that I'd try a pair of fake plugs.. but I cant seem to find a reliable Canadian store to order from online.. they all seem a bit sketchy!

Anyone know of a trustworthy place to order from online, or any Canadian stores that sell them in store?

Hot Topic! i bought fake plugs when I went to a hot topic store in the states but you can probably buy online, but they also have some stores in Canada now. My results were mixed I think a couple of them weren't the best and were loose or broke (it was a while ago i dont remember) and the rest were fine.

i think fake plugs are a great way to try plugs if you dont want to actually get it done, then you can wear the style but also studs or other more traditional hooked earrings as well and you dont have to limit yourself to your options.

anyway good luck!

fake is better than real

I don't get this look at all, but if you want to try it better fake than real. Nothing permanent you may regret later!

Let me know how it goes!

Upload a picture if you can of the plugs- I am so curious about how fake ones look. I like this look on certain people and would like to see how it looks on myself but don't think I can commit to something permanent like that- I'm just curious to see how real they look!

Whenever I see people with plugs or dreadlocks or tattoos or facial piercings, I always think, I should TOTALLY do that- it would look soooo good.

Truth- no, it wouldn't. Not at all- especially on me- haha so it is good to know that there are fake versions where I can try it out and see for myself, once and for all that they are ridiculous on me!

I'm with Ali on this, I don't get it at all! But I'd be curious to try the fakies too... get the look, without the commitment! Sorry couldn't be of more help, but please do post back if you find a store (online or offline) that sells these

Okay, I found some on Claire's website. I'm not certain if they are only online or if they are also available in stores, but they seem to run about $10 per pair, which seems okay!

I agree with you guys, I'm definately not into the whole stretching of the earlobes, but I'd like to be able to wear a fake version some days, just for fun!

Here are a few examples from their website:
