Something to Wear

Ali de Bold

This just popped into my inbox and I think it's a great initiative if you live in the area and would like to do something charitable.

Dufferin Mall has just launched a month-long charitable drive called “Something to Wear”. Shoppers are being encouraged to donate a NEW item of clothing to help women fleeing abuse. All donated clothing will go to The Redwood Shelter, located near the mall.

There is more info on their website here:

Great initiative!

What an excellent idea!! That is so true about women and children fleeing from abuse sometimes quite literally flee with only the clothes on their backs. This is an awesome idea to help them. :)

Awesome

This is a really important cause. I'm sure that even if you don't live in the area, you can donate directly to a woman's shelter near you.
