Vintage anyone?

I am a huge fan of vintage clothing - I especially love the 50's and 70's. I own a few statement pieces (the green dress and B&W blazer in my profile pic are both 50's), and I buy everything local from a wonderful girl down the street from me.

Any other Chicks have a fascination with vintage clothing/fashion? What is your favourite era?

I don't really but I really liked the show on Netflix "girlboss". She knew vintage clothing and what it was worth and made huge money buying and selling .

I started to watch Girl Boss the other day. I was a little disappointed by the pilot episode, but I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the season. I wish Netflix hadn't cancelled it!

i finished the first season of girl boss and which netflix hadn`t cancelled it either cause.. it was a wonderful show.. and i wanted to contact netflix to bring it back and also i love the era of the 1950s

I loved watching Girlboss, it gave me ideas of what i would like to do, such as opening a little store of my own. I also made me wish i knew vintage clothing and how much each item was worth. Plus i love vintage.

I love the 1950's dresses. I have quite a few. I actually wore a 1950's styled dress to my son's graduation. Such beautiful dresses and form flattering. I always tell my husband I was born in the wrong time period.

I love the look from the 1920's....Clara Bow and the whole "It Girl" thing. The dresses looked really comfortable and free flowing and I like the short bob haircuts.

I had my engagement photos done in an original 1950s dress that I picked up for $20 awhile back. It's definitely a more *flattering* era for a plus-size gal ;)
