Thanks to all of you who have signed up for our Book Club so far! Latecomers, feel free to join at any time as this feature will be ongoing.

Our first selection comes compliments of the publisher. 20 of you will receive a free copy of I'll Have Who She's Having, by Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke! Recipients will be notified by email later today.

So what's this book all about? Check out our preview on the site blog and stay tuned for our discussion starting in late April. We will post further details about the start date as we confirm them.

I'll Have Who She's Having

...can this book be bought at a Chapters/Indigo or Coles bookstore?

Found it online..

I checked the Chapters website, and they don't seem to have it listed, though I don't know if their online search covers everything in store. I looked at the author's website and the only places they list to buy the book are Amazon.com and Makdan Publishing. Here are the direct links to purchase them:

ask a salesperson?

The back of the book has Canadian and American pricing ($18 Cdn), so presumably it is available - or maybe will be eventually? I would simply ask, either by title and authors or with the ISBN:

978-0-9819283-1-9

Maybe they can even special-order it for you! Let us know if any of that works so we can spread the word.

If you haven't received an email notifying you that you were selected for a free book, you should assume that you missed out this round. I have heard back from all but one member confirming that she received the notification. Those of you who were signed up as of this morning and were not picked, I have emailed you this evening with links to the book so you can order it online. Amazon for one will ship internationally; I'm not sure about Makdan.

Note that we will not always offer freebies, but we will always let you know if something's up for grabs :)

hmm...

Not at chapter's or indigo as far as I know. I asked and was told they had not heard of it. My guess is that it is just too new. In any case, I will not order it online from the US... next time.

:)

Just had to let you all know I'm about halfway through our book, and look forward to the discussion! Will this be our forum or is there another out there that I'm missing?

Good question

Good point you bring up, Eliza. We want to give those ladies who haven't received or haven't purchased their copy yet a little while longer to catch up before we begin our discussions. We will announce our start time very soon right here in this thread. It's looking like a week or so away. So I'm happy to tell you that you've missed nothing so far!

Eventually we hope to have our own section in the forum specifically for Book Club discussions, but for now expect to see it pop up in the "Fun Stuff" section.

Keep any other questions coming!
