As someone who has progressively less time in her life (and was once a daily long-distance runner), what do people do for exercise? How and what is the easiest way to fit exercise into your lives? I live far away from running trails now and don't have that extra hour or two or each day to run, shower, and be good to go.

I just joined a gym near my work a couple weeks ago. I figure if I try for 3-4 days a week I can get back in shape. It's only $20/month for a membership, so I'm pretty excited. Once I get into better shape, I'd like to take some of the classes they offer, like Zumba and yoga

That sounds like a very cheap gym! Which one is it? Also, what will you do when you're there, and for how long? I miss the adrenaline highs of running and the leg muscles I had.

I joined World Gym...the regular membership is only $10/month, but I got the VIP which entitles me to all the classes, I can bring a friend every time I work out for free, unlimited tanning, unlimited hydromassage and other stuff I can't think of right now. I downloaded the C25K app, and I'm trying to do that on the treadmill...but I have bad knees...so we'll see how that goes. But I really want to learn how to run.
Then I do the machines, (lat pull, leg press, butterflies etc) I'm trying co concentrate on arms and chest one day, then legs and back the next visit.
It's still early yet though.
I'm trying to work out for about an hour total each visit.

I usually like to watch workout DVDs or workout videos, I love Zumba and Pilates. They are such a fun and effective workout! Plus the Zumba videos I workout to are only 20 mins long so you can always find time to do it. :)
