Pineapple Basil Martini

Oooh, those all sound so yummy! My favourite is a Pineapple Basil Martini invented by former B Espresso Bar Manager, Alessandro who appeared in our very first episode of ChickChat TV to demonstrate this recipe.

Ingredients (Makes 1 Martini)

5 Chunks Fresh Pineapple
2 Basil leaves
1/2 Ounce liquid Honey
1/2 Fresh squeezed lime
2 Oz Vodka
Freshly cracked pink peppercorns (garnish)

Muddle fresh pineapple, basil leaves (tear them up first), honey and lime in a martini shaker. Add vodka, ice and shake. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with freshly cracked pink pepper corns. The peppercorns add a hint of zing.

The drink is refreshing and not overly sweet or tart. It's a bit time consuming to make but well worth the effort!

We have more cocktail recipes from Alessandro here!

I'm lazy

I love me a fun new martini, but generally am perfectly happy with a simple Grey Goose & cranberry with a twist of lime. It's what I always come back to...
