Halloween Treats


I wonder do any of you Chicks have the same problem as I do come Halloween Night.I always buy a lot of treats for the kids,especially pkgs of Bars and Chips.Where I live we don't get very many kids ,maybe fifteen or twenty.The problem is,I usually end up eating all the junk.I love bars and chips and cheeses.The next day I go to our Drug Store and purchase another whole lot of junk for snacks in the night time.Wish I could break this so called tradition.Anyone got any suggestions besides taping my mouth over.lol.I 'm not overweight,I only weigh about 115lbs.but ,too much sweet junk is not good for anyone.

Friend's Place or Community Resource Centre

I hear you! My neighbourhood use to be full of kids but I find that the last couple of years there's very little trick-or-treaters. I started going over to my friend's place and it's been successful...much busier! With my left over goodies I donate them to my community resource centre, haha, this prevents me from over eating! Good luck!

Leftovers from Halloween

That is a great idea bioscisweetie,I'll try that this year because where one of my sisters live,she always runs out.She lives in a Trailor Court and there are a lot of kids living there.As for the leftovers(which I don't think there will be any) I'll do what you done,give them to our resource center.Thanks for that great idea,I'm eating too much junk anyway.The day after I'll stay away from the drug store.

goodie bags!!

you could go to the dollar store buy treat bags and make goodie bags for the few kids that come by. put like 5 mini bars in each bag and that way you have less chocolate around the house and the kids get excited when they see a bigger bag.

i alwys have extras. i give them to my kids - very slowly. 2 each friday
