What is the best book you've ever read?

Do you go back and re-read it?  I have a collection of books that I must have read about 20 times - simply because I liked them that much.  Geoffrey Archer is one of my favourite authors - my first love of his was Kane and Abel.  He wrote several books after that, including sequels to Kane and Abel, which carries on the Rosnovski clan on the road to the Presidential White House.

Michael Crichton is another author that I have sever books from and have read them all several times.

It seems that most of my favourite authors are from the 80s and 90s.  What are yours?

Dune by Frank Herbert. First real serious book I read, even if it is sci-fi. I'm a geek, and it's still my favorite!

Book nerd!

I generally can't read a book more than once unless years have passed and I've forgotten a lot of the details, but 1984 by George Orwell is a book I can easily pick up and read over and over. I always find it fascinating and can easily get drawn in. :)

Malcolm Gladwell

I love all of M.Gladwell's books as they are intellectual but easy to read and blow your mind with his assertions. I love Jeffrey Archer and Margaret Atwood. I have read most of Atwood's books and they number more than 2 dozen for me.
I loved reading Misery...amazing.
I never re-read a book....too many and not enough time!

My favorite writer of all time is Stephen King, and the best book i've ever read so far is It. If you like horror, you'll love it!

Maya Angelou's Mom & Me & Mom

This is the 7th part book of the Maya Angelou autobiography series. And this is the last installment published in 2013. Recently, Ms. Angelou died earlier this year. This is a tribute to her mother and their loving relationship over the many decades that they shared with one another. It is a beautiful book to understand Ms. Angelou and to hear her poignant stories of her youth and adulthood if you are a fan.

Best Books

Which world did I enjoy the most ----- Pern and its dragons OR Valdemer and its inhabitants???? Anne McCaffrey wrote Pern series. Do NOT read when she writes with others as it is too violent - garbage. Mercedes Lackey wrote about Valdemer. Go to her website and read the books in series order or enjoy each group of books as you lime in order.
Good fantasy
