I know there are lots of bookworms on this site! What genres are you interested in? That would help us narrow down our suggestions.

I'm a little over half way through Outlander by Diana Gabaldon, the first book in the series. It's so good! I got the series on sale at Chapters for super cheap, and I'm glad I snapped them up when I did because I am already in love with the series. Historical, romantic, time-travel, Scottish-- delightful!

OUTLANDER!!!! (and more)

I am 100% with bethanito! Outlander is my absolute favourite series in the world!! I started reading them about 12 years ago, and have reread the entire series at least 5x.
I love JD Robb's "In Death" series too...but they are futuristic and not for everybody.
I am also wildly crazy about Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books. (First book is "One For the Money") They are laugh out loud funny, about a New Jersey bounty hunter who really isn't that great at her job.

The Forest of Hands and Teeth - Carrie Ryan
It's a post apocalyptic zombie book, but it's got a dark feel to it. I loved it.

Zoo - James Patterson
It starts off awesome, but gets a little slow and redundant. Easy read with short chapters.

Clan of the Cave Bear - Jean M. Auel
I've read this series over and over again. It's a prehistoric fiction tale about the evolution of mankind. It's presented as a story with characters you'll love (or hate, lol), but you learn SO much. The author does tons of research so if you like to learn about things and have an awesome story this is a book for you.

Man, I gotta try Outlander!

Great for the Beach!

I generally love mysteries and "WhoDunnits" and am not crazy about military or special ops type books. But this summer I discovered the Sigma Force Series by James Rollins and have now "beached" my way through 4 of them so far! Lots of action, history and a little intrigue and romance - love them! PS - I concur - loved the Outlander Series as well!
