You need the photo url

Hi Kspencer1! To add photos, the image needs to be already uploaded somewhere online. It could be in your ChickAdvisor gallery. Once you upload it there, get the url to the page where the image is and then when you are writing in the forums, there is an image icon on the far right that you click on, add the url and there it is! No need to resize your image as our system will do that for you. Let me know if you need clarification!

Image URL

To add an image, you need the image URL, if you are on a site and want to take an image there, usually when you right click the image and the dialog box shows up with 'Save Image As" etc.

There is also an option for copy URL, click this and in the forum when you click the insert picture button, just paste it there!

Also- if you have an image saved on your computer and you want to add it, use an image hosting site like TinyPic.

Removing photos

Just for future reference, is there a way to remove a photo from a review if you were the one who put it up there?

removing a picture

@Silly-bee: just email us and tell us where the picture is (url for the review, forum thread, etc). Our site admins will pull it down for you. info@ChickAdvisor.com

However, if it's a gallery pic (i.e. in your profile), you can do that yourself within your profile by clicking on "Edit My Gallery" (within your gallery page) and then clicking Delete beneath any unwanted images.

Hope this helps!
