So I have noticed alot of racism in our small town. My kids and I purchase 10 people around the world colouring and educational books. We plan to leave them in random places to support diversity and acceptance. ( parks, doctors offices, social service agencies, the mall, the local grocery centers just to name a few places... we may also gift wrap them with a "take me" written on them)
We were looking for a poem about acceptance and diversity to leave on the inside cover so people can be more openen minded.
Please no negativity or further racism. I am a proud first nations women and feel my kids need to do this to show others in our community a light of hope.
If you can suggest a well written poem, or would love to contribute to our missing by writing one we would be forever greatful.
We would fully credit the writer and also include them in our mission. We really hope this small act goes viral and promotes random acts of kindness to all ethnicitys around our small community.
