anyone having an ant invasion? We are! Tried the insecticides but they are expensive so went to natural hand vinegar and water with added essential oils. So far it works, my husband sprays out side every morning

I actually am going to try the vinegar and water as well. I heard of that before! I have never personally tried it yet.

OMG!! Yes.!!! They are coming in my house threw the door.....I sprayed everything essential oils, vinegar, and cinnamon etc. So my husband went and bought the Raid Ant Traps....Its been 3 days and not even 1 ant in site!! Get the raid ant traps...they will disappear.

ants are so annoying

Yes, they are coming in through my patio door.
I sprayed Raid and it lasts for maybe a week, and then they come back.

They are HORRID this year! We got three of the bottles of liquid ant killer from WalMart, $5 each. So far they seem to be working well!!

Natural ant solution

We have a LOT of ants outside. To keep them from coming in the house, my husband mixes a solution of Borax, powdered sugar and water. He soaks cotton balls in the solution and then puts the cotton balls in 2 oz food storage containers. After poking holes in the containers, he places them around the inside of the house where ants used to come in. The ants are attracted to the sugar and take the mixture back to their nest, killing more ants. We have really noticed a difference since he started doing this. If you don't have kids or pets, you can place the cotton balls on container lids. Change out the cotton balls with fresh ones every couple weeks.
