Yes, it's a quote from an old song and it's a little cheesy but I try to think up cute tiltles. Anyways I guess most places are done with the autumn leaves now and the ground is with snow like where I am. I was still able to find the time to gather up some red, and yellow leaves for my crafts and candle making, along with acorns. I'm pretty sure my collection will deplete itself before the next autumn leaves that fall.

I don't think I've ever gathered autumn leaves before, do they rot quickly or do you use something to keep them nice?

No, they dont rot. Gather the ones the don't have wholes or are not fully together. I just put them between the pages of a heavy book, and pile more books on 2-3 and they flatten and are easy then to use for whatever purpose you may want.

Spreaking of Autumn Leaves,my Husband and I bagged up six extra large bags yesterday.I use them for my Flower beds in the winter time. They protects the Bulbs I have planted for the Spring and they are great for covering over Flower Beds. The Leaves protect the Perrienls from ground frost.I also put some of them in my compost,to break down over the Winter.
