There is a question that asks you if you are currently taking acetaminophen or diphenhydramine. You should only be taking one medication that has one of those ingredients, so if you answered no for that question, that affects how "eligible" you are for the sample trial. For health safety purposes.

There's also another question along the lines of are you taking tranquillisers, sedatives, have severe alcoholism etc. If you answered yes to one of those, again for health safety purposes could be the reason you are denied. Having those kinds of issues might cause your body to react when taking specific medication under certain circumstances.

Lastly, I think they are marketing the ex. tylenol night time for people who have pain to the point that they experience sleeplessness. So they think that if they try their medication, they will be able to simply fall asleep quickly and have a comfortable good night's sleep.

I hope these points were helpful to you.

I think with medications, they are a bit strict on whom they send it out to. I always get denied them all the time. My husband is able to get them. I think it's how you answer certain questions.

I agree with their response though, if you are suffering from pains, it's best to consult your doctor. Doctor's have samples as well and they are licensed and training to give you the proper medications. I hope that helps.

The reason I'm saying this is because a co-worker of mine had a headache one time and I gave her an Advil. (she didn't know she was allergic) Ended up going to the ER because her allergies to Advil is so severe.
