Free Samples???

on Jun 10, 2016 @ 12:49 am

I have signed up for so many free samples and never get over half of them. Maybe I am naive but I don't understand why they get you to sign up and then don't send the sample they promise! Here are some examples of what I signed up for but never received:
Uncle Earls Hand Soap, Tic Tacs, Red Bull, Cat gloves....and the list goes on and on. Am I the only one or does anybody else seem to have this happen too?

@janjan, that's how it works with free samples. I only received half of what I signed up for. Sometimes they run out of stock as well and will send when they have more stock, so it might take a while. I have received something I have signed up over 6 months ago, which I totally forgot about.
If you want to consistently received free samples in the mail, just keep signing up for them, after a while, you'll start to see things at least once a week. Then it's like "surprise"! Try not to keep track of them and just keep signing up for them and you will start to see them. :)
Also, try to avoid the ones that are spams (use a trusted website) they usually only post legit ones. Again, they do their best but can't always eliminate all the bad ones either. We are all humans, and humans makes mistakes. :)

It's happened to me as well. I usually make a list of the products I signed up for and about 30-40% of them never get delivered.

It happens to me quite often as well! Then when you least expect it you get something in the mail you forgot you even signed up for! I am a firm believer in sampling a product before I buy especially the pricey ones! Hang in there and keep signing up!

I think that happens to most of us! Be patient a lot of them will come in time. As a matter of fact I just received an email for a coffee sample saying they are sorry it took so long but my sample is on the way. I don't even remember signing up for it! Yes there are a lot of scammers and spammers out there so be careful of the info you are giving away!

I've found that half the companies take a really long time to mail things, up to 6 months. I keep signing up for promotions b/c I do get a good amount come through. I know of 5 instances though where I know something from a company or contest was mailed to me and it was "lost or stolen". I did get the Red Bull one in the mail, but not the Tic Tacs.

I found I always seem to get them all at the same time. Some take months to come and then all of sudden they are there. I often forget which ones I have signed up for

I know it has happened to me. But it is worth signing up because I do get most of them. I did get the Red Bull. Hope your samples come.
