How much would you more or less say you can earn doing online surveys?

I do a lot for points like air miles but I do some for global test market and sometimes get a 50 dollar check from them.

How long does it typically take for you to get 50 dollars worth?

A few months. I do get quite a lot of surveys from them. I think I redeemed 3 times last year

Great, thanks!

For me the best survey site is Angus Reid, but it does take around 5 months to get $50, but they are very trustworthy.

However, lately I've started doing Swagbucks again just before christmas and already traded in 50 dollars worth. Which is great, happy birthday me for my upcoming birthday :P

I find it takes quite a while to get enough points to redeem for $$. I used to be able to get surveys done before I had kids but now with a baby it is a lot harder. And I hate when I screen out of the survey after I spent 10 minutes on it. If I could screen out within the first two screens I could live with it but five minutes here and ten there adds up to a lot of wasted time.

I do well!

I do surveys daily for multiple companies and forums and my breakdown for 2015 (I do spread sheets) is about $600 cash, $380 PayPal, $260 Amazon and $670 in prizes from draws the companies enter members into.

That doesn't include Swagbucks ($160 in gcs) or any products I get free for testing/reviews.

@wonderwhatif .... I thought Swagbucks was banned for Quebec. Did they change their policy recently? I've heard it's one of the best survey-type sites out there.

Thanks for your suggestions!

@danayyc It definitely sucks when you give them your time and they don't reciprocate. I hope my experience will be better, but for now I'll just go with the flow and see what happens.

@Guppy If you could give more information about Amazon, I would really appreciate it! That's quite an impressive amount, considering it's just from doing surveys. Thanks for your input!
