Hey ladies, those of you who've known me for a while know the poor state of my health. I'm trying my best, but often feel like I'm running full pelt forward and getting nowhere. As you can understand, it's very stressful. Lately I've been even more exhausted and am getting more tests this week as it's suddenly gotten worse with no change in lifestyle (if anything I'm making healthier choices than before).
But this post is to ask for advice. How do those of you with illness cope with housework. Hubby works full time and does his best but we are both stressed all the time. I feel like by the time I get around to cleaning (and this usually requires really pushing myself combined with luck combined with a slightly 'better' than usual day) it's time to clean again.
Since cleaning has to be done regularly it's like managing to clean the house makes little difference as the next week it's filthy again. I feel like I spend all my time cleaning and it's still not enough to keep the house nice and germ free. I can only imagine the nightmare of if there are kids or more family around being messy.
Any advice on how to lighten the load and destress? Should I just stop caring about cleaning? That really bothers me from a hygenic standpoint. As it is, I clean far less than I did when I was healthy, so I always feel like I'm way behind.
Thanks ladies <3
