Cleansing your skin daily plays an important part. Especially if you wear make up.
I use Oil of Olay daily facial cloths. They clean, remove make up, tone and moiturize all in one.

I just want to add, I'm in my 40's and don't look it. I've been using these cloths for a few years now and as economical as they are, they really work!

Daily skin care routine

I cleanse with micellar water twice daily morning and evening (garnier) and use my own concoction of skin serum 3-4 times a week which is made up of rose hip base oil, Camilia base oil, geranium and frankincense. I have been told I have brilliant blemish free skin and it is really youthful for my age!

Less is more!

I keep my skin really clean and only wear a light CC cream on evenings when I’m going out. If my skin doesn’t breathe, it reacts!

I use a gentle cleanser twice a day. In the AM I use salicylic acid and niacinamide zinc and then I put "B"oil on my face. In the PM I use lactic acid and then put rosehip oil on my face. Everything is from The Ordinary... Except the salicylic acid because they're reformulating and it's out of stock everywhere, so I use The Inlet List for that. The rosehip oil has improved my acne a lot.

Drink Water

The best thing you can do to maintain healthy skin is drink enough water. Your skin will always be dull and dry if you don't get enough water.

Aside from that, take care of it by regularly cleansing and moisturizing your skin. Some people swear by complicated routines with a lot of different products, but you are better off with a simpler routine that you will actually follow regularly than a complicated one you can't be bothered to follow half the time. Mine in kind of in the middle. I cleanse, use 1 serum, usually eye cream, and moisturize twice daily.
