looking for advice

Hello fellow "Chicks"
I am new too this and I'm looking for some advice.
I recently got a gift from a friend, a bottle of hand cream. It states it is Vegan, Gluten free, Plant Based, and Cruelty Free. Also states that it is non greasy, not true. I have sensitive skin, which my friend knows. She trusted what this company stated about there product and spent $15 for the bottle. I was very excited to give it a try. It came out a thinner consistency and was extremely greasy. Within minutes my hands were on fire, as well as my cheeks ( i must of touched my face)! I washed my hands at least 10 times and they are still so greasy and burning.

Now the advice I am seeking is how would you go about this? Does she just suck up the money loss? What should I say to the company ? What should my expectations be with there reply?
AHH Thank you in advance for any input.
The Chick with burning hands.

No, your friend should not suck up the money loss.

THE COMPANY SHOULD DEFINITELY BE CONTACTED!!! and you should let them know what happened to your hands. I am sure they would appreciate your feedback.

The company shuld give you an explaination as to why this might have happened. I think that they owe you that much.

Take care!

There must have been some chemical ingredient that reacted with your skin... even the most trusted company's who claim to be "all-things-free" can still use chemicals to some degree in their products.

You should find out if the company has a Facebook or Instagram page, and leave a comment about your experience. They will most likely comment back or advise you to call their customer service number (should be on the back of the bottle). Ask for the money back that was spent. It's no guarantee that you will get the money back, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Hope this helps!

I would probably contact the company to let them know what happened. Most companies (I think) back their products and will refund.. I could be wrong though.. Doesn't hurt to reach out to them though.
