Marketing

HannaThomas

Heyyyy.

I've secretly been interested in marketing for a long time, however I
suck at maths and.... that is a main component is it not? All the types
of jobs that suit me are jobs I'd need to go to university for, I can
work my way up to university, which would take at least 3 years of study
if I do it that way, or I can do a uni prep course.

Anyway, is there anyone here who works in marketing, how did you get
into it? And what did you study? Any tips and recommendations. These
days it's hard to go in and hand in a resume physically, everyone says
to apply online, sometimes I ask for the manager but they usually want
to be called. Where could I get work experience for this type of job? I
wouldn't mind working my way up but I know some people like giving jobs
to their friends rather than the public.

Thanks.

Unless you go into marketing analytics, math is not a main component

Unless you go into marketing analytics, math is not a main component-- and even then, it depends a lot on the job and what exactly your challenges are with math.

I used to work in marketing analytics, but it's not my current field. Most people either had a bachelor's degree or master's degree in statistics, data science, some business degree, econ, or, sorry, math. :p

I've had good luck applying online in a variety of fields, but you need to tailor your resume to the job descriptions.

The other thing you can do is network-- meet people IRL and talk to them about what you want to study and work on. I've only networked in young professionals groups, which makes it easier.

It sounds like you are very early in your career. Without work experience or a degree, it's difficult to get work experience, as you seem to have figured out. So I would try to reach out to young professionals groups in your area and see if you can get that first job with "someone who knows someone who knows someone". That's how I got my first internship. After that, you can put it on your resume and it helps with subsequent jobs.

It seems that today there are so many marketers.

It seems that today there are so many marketers. But as practice and real-life show, there are few good professionals, and their services are expensive. It's possible to become a specialist without higher education and learn the profession you are interested in yourself. You can read relevant literature to understand the basics of marketing, human psychology, different areas of marketing. You can choose courses where the practice is in the first place. After each module you pass, you must implement everything on real examples. Also, follow the content marketing services and other marketing professionals and learn from their successes.

I agree that marketing and advertising are very important for starting a business and, of course, for development. I also have my own business. My friend offered me the Adbraze marketing platform. The marketing campaign was fast and effective. And what is important to me, it offers a trial period of 14 days to decide on a choice, you can try this platform.

I can tell you that there's no need for you to study if you're planning to get into marketing. You can just learn the process of startup development and come up with something.

Well, I'd say that math doesn't play the biggest part in marketing, but it's definitely important. It's possible to become a good entrepreneur if you manage to come up with a good idea and know how to promote it. Of course, services like SEO Company Cork can help you with that because SEO is one of the best marketing strategies, but before that, you'll have to go through a lot in order to succeed.

Marketing

I've always thought of Marketing as how something is advertised or presented to the general public. It may or may not involve maths depending on what is being advertised / marketed.

Marketing could be how you word and add graphics and logos to a press release, and in today's digital age, could involve providing your audience with clickable links to buy a product. You don't necessarily have to be good at maths to do this you've just got to know how to post on social media and web platforms and be able to naturally "sell" something.

University

Bro, I'm also 0 in math, and I don't want to waste more years on college studies, but without it, I won't be able to do any serious work. I am using https://edubirdie.com/pay-for-homework to combine my work now with the university, and until I get paid enough because my homework is done on time and I haven't spent time doing it, it's much more cost-effective and simple to pay than to do it independently.

Video and animation marketing

Video and animation marketing can improve results of your work and make your products more popular on the internet or social media. My friend once want to create video for his business project and this whiteboard video production agency helped him a lot. He told me that his busines became more profitable after that video marketing trick.
