TFSA!

Tax free savings account. And make it so you have to withdraw the money at the bank vs being able to withdraw easy. That means you have to make an appointment and make you second guess your spending. Lock it in.
Good luck.

Or ask to set up a bank account where you can deposit money into it but can't withdraw out of it with out someone else co signing (like your mom) than just tell her not to sign you money unless it's an emergency!

A tax free savings account . I also have a change jar that I don't touch . Anytime I have change I put it in the jar. You would be surprised at the money you will save by doing that . My cousin is doing the 5 dollar bill one. Also couponing will save you so much money . Get the apps checkout 51 and Caddle. Every week they have different products you can save money on . Upload your reciept and claim your offers . Once you reach 20 dollars they can send you a check or you keep going . Join "Canadian Savings group " on Facebook and read all the files . Everything you need to know about couponing and saving money is there .

If you are a student - Learn to cook.
If you are working - Bring lunch to work every day. You'll save a lot of money.
When you go shopping, especially grocery shopping: make a meal planner template and stick to it. And never grocery shop on an empty stomach. Or after a busy day or week. You'll be more inclined to buy bad food and make poorer purchasing decisions

People waste a ton of money ordering food and prepared stuff. Just look up some tutorials and save some real money.
