Slow Cooker Sweet & Sour Chicken

I've made this recipe many times and my family loves it. A delicious flavor combination that will have your family asking for seconds. I like to use Basmati rice since it holds its shape and absorbs the liquids from the sauce. I hope that you enjoy it if you try this recipe.

Cooking instructions — Slow Cooker Sweet & Sour Chicken

You won’t be disappointed.
Since you’re going to try this recipe I wanted to let you know that I
prepare all my ingredients the night before and leave them in the fridge. I find that the sauce ingredients intensify overnight
and create a rich and spicy sauce. I
also cut up my chicken in pieces and cook it till it’s no longer pink in the frying
pan before adding it to the slow cooker.
Your home will smell delicious when this meal simmers and everyone will come running for
supper.

Let me know if your family enjoys this meal!

:-)

Tacos/Fajitas

Tacos/Fajitas are always a hit in my house. They're easy to put together and we usually have the ingredients in the fridge or pantry. It's also pretty easy to make your own tortillas if you're feeling ambitious. I just brown the meat (either ground beef, chicken or veal cutlet cut into strips) with some onions and season with cumin, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt and black pepper. Then add about a cup of water and let simmer until fully cooked.

Then just prepare your toppings. I usually include diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce and grated cheddar cheese. Jalapenos and sriracha sauce for those who like it extra spicy. You can also add sour cream for extra moisture, but we don't always use it.
