I've been reading a few of the girls 20 questions and curious to know....Aside from HappeEastCoastr and myself, how many of you really enjoy a nice homemade shepherd's pie?

Mot a fan of shepards pie

it is one of our favorite dishes. I make it a little differently than some people in that I use cream corn along with ni lets, and mix after I have cooked the ground beef. Then I put my mashed potatoes on top, and sometimes grated cheese. When my dad comes to visit, it's a guarantee that will be the first meal I make for him.

Nothing says comfort in the autumn/winter time like a good shepherd's pie. I made my last one with sweet potatoes and it turned out amazing! I might make an exception and cook some this week, now that you got me craving it haha!

I love Shepards pie! I cook it year round for my family, even on the barbecue!

I love Shepherd's pie. Mine, too, is a little different. I mix a can of mushroom soup with the ground beef.

Ok so just reading this and it's too funny. I had this for dinner last night. I hated this when I was kid. It was much to dry for me. Years ago I stumbled across Club House mix that you add in with your ground beef. It makes a tasty gravy while cooking. I use different veggies all the time to change it up. Use sweet potatoes also but only on half as my husband swears he hates them. I often grate cheese as well for the top. Or put fresh grated parm in with the potatoes when I mash them up. Yep one of our household favs indeed.

I loved Shepherds pie when I was a kid but as I got older I no longer liked beef so I haven't had it in years.

Not me! I don't eat any meat and suffer from ARFID, so am super picky haha. I think for British people who aren't me, it's pretty popular though!
