So Ive decided as my New Years resolution, I am going to "cleanse" my system and try to eat as healthy as possible!! I have huge stomach problems and have also recently had my gall bladder out, but I still suffer huge...
Anyways, my question is what are some foods that are full of antioxidants?? Anyone who has done this type of thing, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me out with what works!! I'd appreciate it sooo much!!

Eat pomegranates (with the seed inside), blueberries, strawberries... dark fruits tend to have more antioxidants. There is of course, dark chocolate. I'll assume that you need to limit any fat intake without your gall bladder producing bile for you. So try to get your chocolate as dark as possible.
You also might want to do a little research as to what is available for you. The bile from the gall bladder emulsifies any fat from the foods you eat into smaller fat particles, and anything useful (omega-3 & 6) will be absorbed into the lymphatic vessels. So the complex fats would be triglycerides, and the simple ones monoglycerides. You would want to avoid triglycerides (which need to be emulsified or broken down by enzymes) with the absence of bile. That usually means avoiding meats because of the fat in them. You'd want the good oils and fats from your veggies.
Hope I didn't overload you with info. I would also suggest looking for what other people have done after having their gall bladder removed. :)

while growing up, our soups, and food are flavored with ginger. chicken, pork, beef, there is always a zing of ginger in it. these are known natural cleansing herbs, which then cleanse your body with whatever un-pleasant food you eat (boxed meals, chips, boxed cookies - who could refuse that.)
experience taught me that since it cleanses the body, it also help me stay away from cold/coughs brought by usual bacteria that we get anywhere (shopping cart, door knobs, change from that walmart cashier). While we try to wash hands as often, i bet bacteria get in our body, whether we like it or not. so an evening tea, infuse with grated ginger is my daily cleansing to avoid colds/cough. So far, I never get that nasty stuffy nose, or a barking cough.
How to integrate ginger in your diet? infuse in tea, stir fry it with onions, and garlic.
Breakfast: I like fried eggs. At night, I grate some ginger, cube some onions, and garlic.
Quick breakfast for me is eggs and rice ( another asian diet). Before putting that egg in the pan, I sautee the mix of grated ginger, onion and garlic. Sometimes, its just ginger and onion, i pretend that my meal is veggie, egg and rice. Really, its ginger and onion and egg.
Lunch: my sandwich has sauteed ginger and onion.
Dinner: I put grated ginger in soups. I put caramelized onion with grated ginger on top of the burger.
Ginger is a cheap spice, and can be sliced thinly or grated. Careful of the "zing" factor. adjust the amount gradually from half a teaspoon to a spoonful depending on your taste buds.
I tried putting grated ginger on my coffee, and find out I have gone too far.
ginger coffee = No way!
cold juice like apple juice, and add few slices of ginger to it. nice zing.
Ginger ale, IMHO does not have much ginger juice as they claimed in the commercial, otherwise, it will taste gingerly!

Berries,grapes plums, cranberry,Kale,cabbage,spinach,beets,soybeans,walnuts,sunflower seeds,barley,oregano,cloves are some good food choices.I have stomach problems as well,I take Acidophilus and Bifidus capsules twice daily.You can find those at a health food store.Chamomile or lemon balm tea is also good for the stomach.Good luck hope your feeling better.
