Celiac disease becomes more and more common, anyone from you has been diagnosed?! If so, how are you dealing with that and do you have any suggestions or good products to try?!

I was diagnosed with celiac disease over 15 years ago, before anyone even had heard of it. My rule of thumb is I buy from only the outside of the grocery store isles and only really eat fresh fruit, vegetables, beans, nuts and whatever I grow in my garden. I have very serious reactions to even a little cross contamination so I have to be extremely careful. My house is completely gluten free as well. Even my 4 year old granddaughter knows she has to wash and ask what is in foods she eats ect. For eating out a lot of the time I will actually bring my own food as it's the only way to guarantee my own safe dining experience with my family. For my home I have a dehydrator that I use when there is an abundance of fresh food that I can save for later and still keep the nutrients high without killing the enzymes. I also do not eat anything that has anything 'modified ' ie: modified cornstarch, modified milk ingredients ect as they usually contain gluten as it is the cheapest filler out there. With whole meats, check packaging carefully as well. If the label doesn't read only chicken, pork, beef ect then nine times out of 10 it has been injected with a gluten filler substance to add weight to the product so it costs more. This usually means the product is not safe. I could go on forever lol. If you have an questions or specifics you'd like to ask me I would be more than willing to share the knowledge I have. Most learned the hard way lol.
