Sorry to ask- whats BV?
|BV on Apr 19, 2015 @ 09:23 pm|
Hi, are you talking about bacterial vaginosis? If so, antibiotics are the only way to treat it. The antibiotics are-metronidazole or clindamycin. It's an increase of harmful bacteria and is the most common vaginal infection in women of child bearing years. It's similar to a yeast infection and only a doctor can diagnosis it for certain. If this isn't what you asked about, boy am I going to be embarrassed. Ginger.

Yes that's it exactly. My Dr said that in 30 to 50 percent of cases it goes away on its own and recommended boric acid as one possible treatment. I was looking for other ideas

Hi there pctrain. How does your doctor think boric acid will treat this? I'm just curious and never heard of it. What are you supposed to do with it? Thanks, Ginger.
