Chronic pain remedies

Amanda83

I've been dealing with chronic pain, head to toe, for a long time, but it's gotten worse lately. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia many years ago and I have tried medicines for that, which have not worked unfortunately. My doctor and I have been working to look into if it could be more than just fibromyalgia and I do currently have a painkiller, which unfortunately only drops my pain from a 10 to an 8 most days. Anyway, long story short, anyone dealing with chronic pain have any good remedies? Store bought items, home remedies, etc. Thanks.

It's hard!

I also have fibromyalgia and it's a struggle. I don't take anything because I am pregnant and there isn't anything that is safe. I have been trying to manage with chiro, massage and essential oils. I also have a tens machine. It seems to help take the edge off sometimes.
Would be worth a try. Chiro is tricky because I actually feel worse for a couple days but then feel okay for a week

.

Sometimes eliminating foods that increase inflammation in the body can help. No gluten, No sugar, No dairy, eating organic fruits, veggies and lean meat. No processed foods. That will help you LOTS!! Food is your best medicine. I also take L-carntine, zinc, B vitamins, Magnesium, Q10., D-ribose. These vitamins help a lot!

Warm baths...with salts..alleviates my severe arthritic pain...
I go for massages....

I have it too. Hot baths with epsom salts particularly eucalyptus ones are great for me and using a heating pad

I completely understand this is what's been working for me

I'm in the same boat have FB and also chronic pain I have been taking b12 it is helping slightly I have gone through every available prescription they don't work which leave these crazy pain killers that leave you immobile. So maybe as a suggestion you could try what I did talk to your dr about canabis has worked better than anything that I have gotten at the pharmacy I find throughout the day smoking (vaping) works well I am able to get what is needed done I'm not going to tell you it makes me pain free but my severity is much better. I also include edibles (canabis in food form) for my sleeping. I am getting a much better sleep and don't have any lingered affects in the am. I figured I'd let u know what works for me. I of course do the hot baths and massages if I can

Pain pain go away

I have something called "Fibrous Dysplasia " and it's brutal. I have 3 Tumors in my left femur that pushed my bone out . I'm on heavy pain meds but I'm still in a lot of pain . Heat does help Me a little. So I like to take hot baths , I use a heating blanket . A magic bag that heats up in the microwave is amazing too . I can't wait until the nicer weather because it helps too .

Thank you, but..

I did ask for people's advice, so I am appreciating what people do for their chronic pain. Yes, no one is the same and without going into my blood work and medical chart, no one can know exactly what I need, in some cases, not even my doctor, but please don't knock others comments, as I asked for opinions and thoughts on their remedies.
