I believe this year is even more important!

Hi! I usually don’t take the flu vaccine but this year, more than ever, I think I am going to do it. Having a simple flu in 2020 is too much hassle (you need to self isolate and eventually get tested) so if I can diminish the chance to get the flu this year, why not? Of course just my personal opinion 🙂

I personally won't be getting the COVID vaccine when / if it comes out. I think it is being rushed and not enough long term research on side effects will have been done on it.

Having said that, I have the luxury of being in a very low number province, so maybe I would have a different perspective if I was in a high number area.

Edit..

Sorry, I have just realized that you were asking about getting the Covid vaccine when ready? Then yes, I will definitely take it.

The vaccine is not being rushed, all governments put more money into research which means faster results.

:)

I always get the flu vaccine for myself and my family. I work in healthcare so I am being cautious that I won't give anything unnecessarily to those with a weakened immune system. Along with the other things such as hand hygiene and mask wearing. It would be nice if they eventually made a retro virus and included it in the flu vaccine cause this seems like a virus that is going to stick around. I will most likely get this vaccine as well just because of my work and I would feel guilty if I gave it to anyone.

nope no way

I'm not getting that vaccine until I know it's very limited in side effects. I will continue to wear a mask and socially distance. I don't think there has been enough time to research it properly. There was a vaccine that came out many many years ago for measles i think it was that killed a bunch of people. Covid vaccine won't be killing me.

If it’s safe...

I will definitely take it if it’s safe. Too many vulnerable people in my immediate family :(

Covid Vaccines

I would get a Covid-19 vaccine to prevent myself getting the virus and to prevent me passing the virus on to older people like my grandparents, parents and people in the community I may come into contact with.

And to be honest the UK’s restrictions have been very strict and I would like to think if a large number of people got a vaccine against Covid-19 it would open up an opportunity to live without so many restrictions.

Covid

Like you I also get my flu shot every year with no adverse effects. And even though covid is very scary indeed when the vaccine becomes available I'll be in line to recieve it

Unsure

I was positively going to get it as I am immune compromised and wanted to protect myself, my father, children and grandchildren. But now I am hearing from the scientific community that some people who get the vaccine may still get Covid. And what exactly are any side effects from it. I think they rushed the vaccine and haven’t really perfected it. I am on the wall now, not sure what I will do.
